Depend on Men Never on a Woman

There have been times in my life when I saw a man down on his luck and I offered him a bite to eat. No expectations. No strings. Just man to man respect. Twenty years later, that same man will find me and thank me like it happened yesterday.

I have been broke myself. I have had days where I could not afford a meal, and a friend sat me down and fed me without hesitation. That is the kind of act a man never forgets. Twenty years pass, but the gratitude stays alive.

Now think about your own life. Think about those moments when you had nothing. Who came to your aid? Who had your back without broadcasting it? And just as important, who turned their nose up at you? Who vanished when you had no value to offer them?

Now take that memory and contrast it with this, you can buy a woman the best dinner, the finest wine, shower her with gifts, and entertain her like royalty. But the moment you are broke, the moment you are down and struggling, where will she be? She will not be feeding you. She will not be checking on you. She will be gone, looking for her next provider.

This is the brutal difference. A man who helps you when you are at your worst is a man for life. A woman who benefits from your best will disappear when you lose the ability to serve her wants.

That is why you must invest in brotherhood, not bait.
