Around 2,000 suspected gang members have been moved to a new “mega prison” after El Salvador declared a “war on gangs”.
The jail has the capacity to hold more than 40,000 people.
In its bid to crackdown on gangs, El Salvador’s President Bukele ordered some measures that’s been seen as controversial as it suspends some constitutional rights.
