Richelle Carey decided that her career was a priority and decided that she would have children later in life. In her 40s she tried IVF with no success. Eventually, she quit her job with Al Jazeera in Qatar and decided to move back to the states in Houston, TX to live with her parents. This is where she adopted her son.
