“Hey r/survivinginfidelity, I’ve had a lot of people reach out to me in the last several days looking for an update. I apologize, I’ve been swamped with work and by the time I get home, I am focused on the kids to the exclusion of everything else. That said, a lot has happened and I could use your advice/input.
I’ve mentioned already that I talked to AP’s wife on Friday. She told me she is not ready to end their marriage and that they are staying together and are going to try and make things work. They are in counseling. They have children together, and I don’t begrudge her trying to save her marriage. I did the same thing when I was in her shoes. Their kids don’t know. I wish them nothing but the best, and I hope they are able to work things out. She asked me not to contact her while they work on things, and I fully intend to respect her wishes. I hope they can salvage things.”
